Instrument Manager Version 9.00.20 Released

Colchester, VT (Aug. 20, 2024) – Data Innovations® (DI) announces the availability of Instrument Manager™ (IM) 2023 MR2, (v9.00.20). This edition is a minor release.

IM 2023 MR2 is focused on our continued security initiative to support your organization’s ongoing resistance to cyber threats. Data Innovations understands the impact cybersecurity events can have on your organization and will be diligent to evaluate cyber vulnerabilities with each IM version release. While security was the focus, IM 2023 MR2 includes updates to enhance the resilience of your connected devices to recover from network interruptions or idle timeout events. In this release we have also incorporated the latest updates to the InterSystems IRIS platform that IM leverages. More details about the content in IM 2023 MR2 can be found in the associated release notes.

As you plan to upgrade from your current IM version to IM 2023 MR2, you may need to upgrade your physical or virtual server. IM 2023 MR2 is supported on the following Microsoft Operating Systems:

  • Windows Server® 2016
  • Windows Server 2019
  • Windows Server 2022
  • Windows® 10 Professionel
  • Windows 11 Professionnel

Staying updated on the most recent version of IM is important. We urge you to begin planning to upgrade from your current IM version to IM 2023 MR2. IM versions 8.16.20 and older are considered legacy versions and will reach End of Life beginning in January of 2026. Customers still using these IM versions typically have outdated hardware, operating systems, and databases. While IM is a very stable product, legacy versions do not receive enhancements or cybersecurity patches. Review our version history to see the list of new features you will receive when you upgrade to IM 2023 MR2.
